Good afternoon everyone! Before we get into the exciting news, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year heading into 2023! I have some great news to share with you all!

First off, we have a NEW area and puzzle dungeon known as the "Whispel Woods". Deep inside the woods, hidden for decades lies the "Pioneer Mansion" where history and heroes of old lie. I am very excited to see player reactions to this dungeon in particular as it brings in some more chaos into this already mysterious journey Brian Kendo must undergo.

Next, we have some more OSTs and Art Assets created not just for new characters but updates to the tileset as well. New tracks such as "The Unknown Into You", "Spirit Talk" and others! Including some returning unused tracks from the Alpha Build!

That's not all! Next week on January 9th, I will officially have an intern working with me on this project for the next several months! They will be assisting me in Level Design, Narrative Writing, Audio Design, Art Assets, and many more ways! I am looking forward to working closely with them on this project to help make it the best version of itself.

Before we get to the big reveal of this update, I have an update regarding the features and versions of the final product. As stated in the past Devlog "The Week After..." which was released after the Narrative Beta became available to play, I had gone over different versions that would be available for download and purchase. As of right now, the idea of having split "Standard" and "Royalty" versions will be SCRAPPED and replaced with an entirely new system that not only makes it easier for us on the developer side but also less convoluted for players.

Finally, I am honored and pleased to announce that CrossLust now OFFICIALLY has a Store Page on STEAM! Yes! You read that correctly! CrossLust is now available to view on Steam at this link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2241610/CrossLust/ !

The prior update mentioned in this Devlog regarding versions and pricing will be altered to better fit with how Steam works. For now, the current release date is January 1st 2024 but this is just a placeholder until further notice.

Thank you to all that have supported me thus far, I am thrilled about the future and I am looking forward to seeing the full release at the bare minimum this Summer. I hope everyone is ready to tackle this new year head-on!
